The SERVO-U™ ventilation system from Maquet, a GETINGE Group company, was launched in Lebanon on February 13, 2015 at the Hilton Beirut Habtoor Grand Hotel.

Medicals International organized a workshop for a focused group of Doctors from different hospitals in Lebanon. The purpose of this workshop was to introduce the SERVO-U to intensivists, anesthesiologists, as well as pneumologists. Mr. Maroun Farah, Respiratory Therapist and Mr. Roland Koudakjian, Product Manager from MAQUET Dubai were also present for talks and demonstrations.

Ms. Nathalie Antoun - MI Sr. Territory Manager and Critical Care Product Specialist - introduced the history of the SERVO ventilator platform and specifically the SERVO-U. Another presentation was done by Mr. Maroun Farah on the clinical aspect and added patient value that the SERVO-U offers including the treatment of cases like ARDS and lung injuries among others.

The workshop was followed by a delightful dinner at the Venezia restaurant in the same hotel.
