The American University of Beirut Medical Center (AUBMC) held the dedication ceremony of the Medicals International Ophthalmology Conference Room in the presence of Mr. Walid Barake, President and Founder of Medicals International, and family, Dr. Bahaa’ Noureddine, Chairperson and Professor, Department of Ophthalmology, Dr. Ziyad Ghazzal, Interim Medical Center Director and Chief Medical Officer, and Dr. Samir Alam, Chief of Staff.

The private ceremony was attended by AUBMC leadership and community of the Department of Ophthalmology along with Barake family members and Medicals International team. The Medicals International Ophthalmology Conference Room is located at the Daniel ACC building, a major landmark providing a holistic approach to healing and teaching, in an environment that merges patient care, education, and research. Named in honor of Medicals International numerous contributions to the AUBMC Department of Ophthalmology, the room will provide a collaborative space for doctors in an environment enabling high-performance academic medicine.

The Medicals International Ophthalmology Conference room is officially open on the 8th floor of the Daniel ACC building at AUBMC in an environment supporting MI’s motto “We Think of the Patient First”.
