Medicals International organized the first Fotona meeting on June 2nd at Metropolitan Hotel, Lebanon. The event was attended by 35 of the most reputed Lebanese dentists.
The conference started with 2 lectures given by Dr. Karim Corbani and Dr. Rita Feghali. Dr. Corbani, DDS holds a “Diplome des Etudes Superieures” in Endodontics from Saint-Joseph University Faculty of Dental Medicine, Beirut. He is also an international member of the American Academy of Cosmetic Dentistry (AACD) and a senior Lecturer at St. Joseph University Faculty of Dental Medicine, Beirut. As for Dr. Feghali, DDS, she holds a Master of Sciences degree in Laser Dentistry and is a member of the Department of Laser Surgery and Laser Therapy at the University of Genoa, Italy. she is also a peer reviewer of the Journal of Lasers in Medical Sciences.
In addition to the lectures, a demo on the LightWalker machine was done where attendees got the chance to try out the product. LightWalker lasers offer the most comprehensive list of clinical applications of any dental laser made today.
The conference was moderated by Dr. Toni Zeinoun the Chairman of the Oral and Maxillo-Facial Surgery Department at the Lebanese University, President of the Lebanese Society for Laser in Dentistry and Former President of the Lebanese Dental Association.
The event was followed by a dinner at Venezia in the same hotel.
