RE-BONE® is a CE certified bone substitute of bovine origin produced in Italy, designed to promote tissue regeneration in bone and reconstructive surgery. It is produced by processing the epiphyses of bovine femurs at low temperature (Thermagen® process), thus avoiding the issues derived from high temperature processing. The bovines are carefully selected by ISO certified slaughterhouses that guarantee a maximum age of 24-month cattle, born, raised and bred in Italy.

The Thermagen® process ensures high biocompatibility, higher porosity granules, better stability, absence of ceramization with raw material, total reabsorption and the conservation of the main bone markers.

Shelter® is a pericardium membrane of bovine origin specifically designed for bone surgery in dentistry. Produced in Italy using the Pericross® process, Shelter® offers its users greater stability and resistance to traction, protection to the graft site from soft tissue colonization as well as controlled resorption times.

There are two types of membranes:

• Shelter® Fast: a fast-resorption membrane (4-5 weeks) due to particular broad-textured collagen structure.
• Shelter® Slow: a slow-resorption membrane (3-6 months) due to a modified three-dimensional structure of collagen fibers with intensified bonds, making them more resistant.
